MassRobotics, Partners Announce Second Healthcare Robotics Startup Catalyst Cohort

Unlimited Robotics provides Gary the AI Robot, which can help medical teams in hospitals and other healthcare facilities give better service to patients. The Petach Tikva, Israel-based startup said Gary can perform delivery tasks that are not patient-facing, such as moving supplies, lab samples, medications, and equipment.

The robot can also help with cleaning and sanitation tasks, and it has telepresence features. In addition, Unlimited Robotics offers fleet management software and the Ra-Ya software development platform.

Unlimited Robotics will work with Novanta to improve its proprietary expertise in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and precision motion technologies. They will also collaborate to improve and speed deployment of Gary the AI Robot in different hospitals in the U.S.

MassRobotics, FESTO, Mitsubishi Electric, Novanta, and MITRE will provide networking, mentoring, and resources to help seven startups commercialize healthcare robotics.
