MassRobotics, Partners Announce Second Healthcare Robotics Startup Catalyst Cohort

Andromeda Robotics

Andromeda Robotics is building a fleet of humanoid robots for multiple industries. The Australian firm’s first prototype, Abi, is designed to help residents in elder-care facilities maintain their independence.

Abi is currently deployed in two facilities in Melbourne, and Andromeda Robotics is looking to expand to adjacent healthcare sectors. Its partner has yet to be announced.

MassRobotics, FESTO, Mitsubishi Electric, Novanta, and MITRE will provide networking, mentoring, and resources to help seven startups commercialize healthcare robotics.
