MODEX 2026: Cutting-edge warehouse robots, AMRs & more

Contoro Robotics will showcase its Container Unloading Robot and Contoro Palletizer System. Designed to autonomously unload floor-loaded trailers and shipping containers, the Container Unloading Robot operates in real-world inbound environments characterized by mixed SKUs, irregular box orientations and heavy cartons up to 65 lbs. The system has been deployed across customers, including Amazon, H-Mart, States Logistics, Neovia and PetSmart, where it operates in live warehouse conditions rather than controlled demonstration settings. The new Contoro Palletizer System is a purpose-built automation offering designed to tackle one of the most persistent bottlenecks in inbound warehouse operations: mixed-SKU palletization. Using an integrated vision stack and continuous learning models derived from Contoro’s unloading deployments, the system identifies SKUs, detects box pose in real time and automatically reorients cartons before building stable stacking patterns on pallets. Unlike traditional palletizers, the system is designed to handle mixed-SKU inbound freight without requiring upstream sequencing. Contoro Robotics, contoro.com, Booth A4127
