Attabotics’ high-density robotic cube storage technology addresses space, labor and productivity challenges facing order fulfillment operations. It includes a modular, 3D storage structure that offers storage density at heights greater than 20 feet, and can be configured to nearly 40 feet high. Robots travel vertically through the structure to get fast, direct access to bins in any storage location - no wasted movement and no requirement to dig or stack inventory in advance. Workstations located on the perimeter of the structure enable robots to keep a steady flow of inventory to pickers, helping maximize labor utilization and avoiding down time between picks. As throughput requirements expand, operations can add robots and workstations to scale up with demand. The system uses bins that are available in multiple heights and materials to make the most of available storage space in the structure and to accommodate a wide range of SKUs.
