ProMat 2025: Mobile robots, robot arms, ASRS and more on display

XYZ Robotics’ automated robotic offering tackles the truck (un)loading process in a compact, flexible design. The system can achieve throughput rates of 400 to 1,200 cases per hour and integrates into existing workflows without requiring infrastructure modifications, ensuring operator ease through a user-friendly HMI. At its core are two key MMRs: RockyOne specializes in container loading and unloading, and RockyLight is designed for depalletizing and palletizing. These robots work collaboratively through an extendable roller conveyor system, utilizing SLAM navigation, allowing 360° 3D perception of their surroundings and enabling real-time adjustments. The robots incorporate proprietary computer vision capabilities to autonomously adapt to new case types and execute precise picking. Motion planning ensures efficient and reliable movement for the six-axis robotic arm. The smart gripper ensures stable and accurate lifting, and the digital twin simulation provides an environment for configuration to further streamline the deployment process.
