EAIGLE and Loblaw expanded their partnership to further roll out EAIGLE's Vision AI platform across multiple transportation yards and distribution centers at the Canadian grocery and pharmaceutical retailer.

Computer vision and data orchestration platform for gate and yard automation company EAIGLE announced an expanded partnership with Canadian food and pharmacy retailer Loblaw Companies Limited to improve gate operations at Loblaw distribution centers.

The companies said that the expanded rollout of AI-powered gate automation technology is designed to improve efficiency and visibility across yard and distribution operations.

Loblaw Companies Limited said it is scaling EAIGLE's Vision AI across multiple yards and distribution centers, building on early results that have reduced processing times, enhanced the driver experience and increased data accuracy at the gate and in the yard.

Additionally, EAIGLE's AVAC technology helps automate routine gate processes, improving visibility and supporting more efficient vehicle movement through distribution centers.

"We're always looking for practical ways to improve how products move through our network so we can better serve our customers," said Wael Yehia, vice president, national transportation at Loblaw. "Working with Canadian innovators like EAIGLE allows us to leverage technologies that can help improve efficiency, support our operations teams and keep products moving reliably across our network."

EAIGLE said that supply chains are facing increased pressure to operate with precision, speed, security and resilience. The company said that gate operations play a critical role in maintaining that balance.

EAIGLE said that its approach applies Vision AI to automate vehicle access control, capture critical data and enable real-time decision-making while reducing operational disruption and keeping essential goods flowing for Canadians.

"This is about scaling what works in real operations, a practical and measurable use of applied AI in supply chains," said Amir Hoss, CEO of EAIGLE. "It should strengthen existing workflows, not replace them. What we're seeing with Loblaw is a clear example of how Vision AI can be deployed at scale to improve consistency, throughput and visibility across facilities."

EAIGLE said that the collaboration also highlights the joint commitment to strengthening Canadian supply chains through innovation. Loblaw said that the expanded partnership reflects its ongoing focus on finding practical ways to improve efficiency, visibility and the movement of goods across its distribution network.
