HAI Robotics says its award-winning HAIPICK autonomous case-handling system system offers intelligence, efficiency, and flexibility to improve warehouse efficiencies.

HAI Robotics today said it has the won the robotics category in the 2021 NextGen Supply Chain Solution Provider Awards, presented by Supply Chain Management Review, a sibling site to Robotics 24/7. The Shenzhen, China-based company provides autonomous case-handling robotics (ACR) for warehouses.

Founded in 2016, HAI Robotics has set up five subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the U.S., and the Netherlands, serving customers from more than 30 countries and regions. The company said it has over 1,000 staffers, more than 50% of whom are engineers. HAI Robotics added that it has acquired more than 600 global patents for core intellectual properties involving positioning, robot control, and warehouse management.

The company said its HAIPICK ACR system, independently developed in 2015, is the world's first of its kind. HAI Robotics has a yearly turnout of 10,000 robots with a 18,000 sq. m (193,750 sq. ft.) factory in Dongguan, China. It raised $200 million in Series C and D financing last month.

The HAIPICK ACR supports automatic warehouse management and includes automated transportation, retrieval, storage, and sorting. HAI Robotics said its mobile robots have multiple sensors capable of integrated positioning. They have control precision of ±3mm (0.11 in.) to allow intelligent picking, transport, auto-navigation, obstacle avoidance, and auto-charging with high stability and high accuracy, according to the company.

The HAIPICK robots can pick and place totes as well as cartons on storage shelves up to 10 meters high. They can carry up to eight loads to continuously feed goods-to-person picking stations.

HAI Robotics claimed that its warehouse automation can provide customer benefits such as rapid deployment time and a 100% success rate, while complying with local regulations and U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards.

“Our breakthrough ACR technology enables customers to achieve next-generation logistics like increasing operating efficiency 300% to 400%, increasing storage density by 230%, and obtaining high efficiency operations,” said Richie Chen, founder and CEO of HAI Robotics.

The company said it is committed to providing efficient, intelligent, flexible, and customized automation for manufacturing and logistics through robotics and artificial intelligence. HAI ROBOTICS will be presented the award at the virtual NextGen Supply Chain Conference, which will be from Nov. 2 to 4.
