Servotecnica teases new slip ring technologies coming at SPS 2025 in Nuremberg

Global motion control technology provider Servotecnica announced it will showcase its latest range of innovative slip ring offerings at Smart Product Solutions (SPS) 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany, from November 25-27, 2025.

The company was founded in 1980 and has facilities in Italy and Germany. Servotecnica also showcased its slip ring technologies during Automatica 2025, held in June in Munich.

SPS 2025 debut of slip rings for welding robot applications

At SPS, Servotecnica will introduce a new customized pancake slip ring engineered for welding robot applications. The company said the slip ring design combines ultra-compact form with high-current performance, reflecting Servotecnica’s continued innovation in motion connectivity.

Servotecnica provided the following specifications of the new slip rings:

• Up to 10 million revolutions
• Customized shape and brush material
• Flat, low-profile surface
• Hollow shaft design
• Up to 10A per circuit current capacity
• <8 mm total height
