Agility Robotics makes Digit, its three-year-old humanoid robot that was built based on the design of the company’s bipedal robot, Cassie. The Albany, OR. -based company said Digit can complete a range of tasks. Some of those tasks include moving totes, unloading trailers, and last-mile delivery. The robot can carry packages up to 40 lb, according to Agility Robotics. Along with Boston Dynamics and several other companies, Agility Robotics recently signed a letter denouncing weaponizing general-purpose robots.
