Engineered Arts’ humanoid Ameca features a human-like face. Unlike some of the other robots on this list, Ameca can’t walk yet, but it features artificial intelligence software that allows it to speak with people. The Falmouth, U.K.-based company said the robot takes advantage of automated speech recognition and computer vision to help it understand its environments.
