10 Companies Riding the Mobile Robot Wave

Locus Robotics

Wilmington, Mass.-based Locus Robotics Corp. is the first AMR company to reach “unicorn” status, according to Interact Analysis. That means it has a valuation of over a $1 billion.

The company‘s mobile robot fleet includes the Locus Origin, the Locus Vector and the Locus Max. It has raised $299 million in funding since its founding in 2014, said Crunchbase.

Autonomous mobile robots, or AMRs, are fast becoming more common in warehouses and manufacturing facilitates. Here is a look at some of the most interesting players in the space.
