Shield AI Ramps Up With $207M

​It’s worth noting that many innovations in robots, drones, and unmanned systems began with defense applications. San Diego-based Shield AI last month raised $210 million as part of its Series D round. The company is developing an autonomy stack used in Martin UAV’s vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) drone.
