Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Innovusion Inc., which has been developing lidar sensors for autonomous vehicles and other applications, raised $64 million last month. The company claimed that its systems combine a wide viewing angle, a long detection range, and high-resolution perception, even in low-light conditions. Innovusion supplies its technology to Chinese self-driving company NIO.
