Jabil's J422-G server is designed specifically to power high workloads across AI, machine learning, LLMs, high-performance computing (HPC) and fintech.
Jabil, a global engineering, supply chain and manufacturing technologies provider, announced the launch of its new J422-G servers.
The company said the J422-G servers look to meet the growing needs of AI and data center customers.
Jabil said the J422-G server processor’s microarchitecture is optimized to meet diverse performance and efficiency requirements where workload-optimized accelerators, cloud scale out, and mature support for the server ecosystem are critical.
The company said these servers are specifically designed for high-powered workloads across AI, machine learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), high-performance computing and fintech.
These high-performance, sixth-generation Intel Xeon 2U Dual Socket MHS Rackmount Servers support up to four 600W double-wide front GPUs. The company said this aligns to the Open Compute Project (OCP)’s standards-based approach to server design for sustainability and scalability.
"Jabil’s role in the AI hardware ecosystem goes beyond building servers,” said Ed Bailey, Jabil’s chief technology officer, intelligent infrastructure, at Jabil. “As our customers’ trusted engineering-led manufacturing partner, we help hyperscalers grow with confidence and speed, starting from integration. With our unique set of technologies and capabilities, matched by our global scale, we are well-positioned to deliver the next generation of data center and networking solutions.”
Jabil said the servers are expected to be generally available in November 2025.
Jabil server platforms will be on display at the 2025 OCP Global Summit, October 13-16 at the San Jose Convention Center. In addition to the J422-G, Jabil will also have the following technologies at the event:
