Kassow Robots will showcase its portfolio of 7-axis cobots for industrial applications at Automate 2026 in Chicago.
Kassow Robots, a Copenhagen-based manufacturer of high-performance, 7-axis lightweight collaborative robots (cobots), will showcase a range of industrial applications at Automate 2026 in Chicago.
The company stated that its 7-axis cobots enable greater flexibility in various tasks, which will be showcased in full at its booth, including the new KR 1824 model and a new use case featuring two KR Series cobots on a mobile platform for material handling.
Kassow Robots said that its portfolio of industries has since expanded with the introduction of the KR 1824 and KR 1240 models. The company said that these cobots enable more stable handling of heavier loads and feature 50% higher joint torque, 20% faster wrist joint speeds and up to 40% increased mechanical stiffness.
All seven KR Series models, including the new 1824 and 1240, are available in the Edge Edition, which allows the controller to be integrated into the base of the cobot for use in mobile applications like AGVs and AMRs. The company said that this gives end users flexibility in how they’re utilizng the 7-axis of mobility throughout their physical environment.
“Cobot integration continues to grow within manufacturing, and we’re dedicated to providing solutions that not only address current trends, but also where the industry is headed,” said Kristian Kassow, founder and CEO, Kassow Robots. “The solutions we’re exhibiting at Automate reflect this trend, and we’re looking forward to further engaging with participants to share how we're impacting a diverse portfolio of industries.”
Additionally, at Automate, as a part of Bosch Rexroth, Kassow Robots will demonstrate how cobots operate with advanced control technology like Bosch Rexroth’s ctrlX AUTOMATION portfolio and the new Kassow Robots Connector App.
The app, which was launched in Spring 2026, connects through the ctrlX OS environment, which the companies said significantly simplifies commissioning, control and system integration for industrial automation offerings. Operators can connect and monitor robots, execute motion commands, acknowledge alarms and interact in jog mode directly from a ctrlX OS device.
