Swisslog will highlight its cold-storage and omnichannel offerings, along with other intralogistics technologies, at ProMat 2025 in Chicago.
Swisslog, a provider of warehouse automation and software, announced that the organization will share its robotics and automation experience in on-floor seminars at ProMat 2025, taking place from March 17-20 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The company is also using its booth (#S3523) as a platform to continue its emphasis on the human side of automation and celebrate its 125th anniversary.
“As companies look for a partner to help them optimize customer service levels and increase supply chain efficiency and resiliency, our belief that people transform automation from a collection of technologies into a business asset is really resonating,” said Sean Wallingford, president and CEO of Swisslog Americas. “Our Swisslog colleagues think and act as an extension of our customers’ teams and share in their aspirations, challenges, and successes. By bringing deep industry-specific expertise, backed by a collaborative spirit, our people work diligently to maximize the value of the automation investment.”
This appreciation for the human side of automation represents Swisslog's commitment to not just advancing technological frontiers, but considering the human element within intralogistics.
The Swisslog booth offers a 3D experience that brings the company’s temperature-controlled portfolio to life, showcasing how these offerings help ensure freshness and quality while reducing costs and order fulfillment times. Swisslog staff will answer questions about the new AutoStore Multi-Temperature offering, which allows multiple temperature zones within a single AutoStore system. Swisslog recently deployed the system in La Réserve des Saveurs’ new automated storage/preparation facility.
Visitors to the booth also can learn how the company’s entire portfolio of robotics and software offerings can help improve efficiency in a variety of applications, including food and beverage, general merchandise, apparel and omnichannel warehousing.
This includes offerings for storage and retrieval (CycloneCarrier robotic shuttle system and Vectura stacker crane) and robotic picking and palletizing (ItemPiQ robotic picking and ACPaQ mixed case palletizer). It also includes transport and conveyor offerings, such as Swisslog’s autonomous mobile robot (AMR) portfolio, offering versatility for various applications in pallet transport.
Live demonstrations of AutoStore and Swisslog’s SynQ intralogistics software will also be featured at the booth. SynQ offers WMS and WES capabilities along with integrations to automation controls and visibility and reporting engine, all from a single platform.
Swisslog speakers will share their warehouse automation experience and expertise in two educational seminars at the show.
During the session, “Automated Warehouse Excellence: Agile Cold Storage’s Deep-Freeze Solution,” attendees will learn how Agile overhauled its frozen food storage operations in Gainesville, Ga. Swisslog’s Ben Lee, vice president of sales, integrated systems, and Agile’s John Ripple, chief development officer, will share how Agile worked with Swisslog to use high-bay automation pallet storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) to significantly increase storage density and operational efficiency.
Attendees of the session, “Designing Flexibility into Automated Omnichannel Distribution,” will learn about the automation offerings supporting flexible omnichannel warehouses. Swisslog sales directors Wofford Wise and Alex Reed will outline key strategies for designing omnichannel warehouse automation that delivers maximum value. They will also discuss the automation offerings that can support more efficient store replenishment and faster, lower-cost e-commerce fulfillment.
