FedEx has been developing its own autonomous delivery robot to help it delivery packages. It unveiled the Roxo SameDay Bot in February 2019. The robot was created in partnership with DEKA Development & Research Corp. It was designed to do same-day deliveries. It’s been going through testing in the U.S. since.
In July 2021, FedEx announced that it had deployed the robot in Japan.
