Mountain View, Calif.-based Nuro Inc. recently announced the launch of its third-generation autonomous delivery vehicle. The SAE Level 4 vehicle, which will drive on the street, can carry payloads of nearly 500 lb.
The company has partnered with Dominos, Kroger, Walmart, Chipotle, FedEx, and 7-Eleven and has been piloting its technology in Texas, Arizona, and California.
In November 2021, Nuro closed on $600 million in Series D funding.
