A Look at 10 End of Arm Tool Providers

Schunk

Schunk has been around since 1983, making it one of the older company on this list. Based in Lauffen am Neckar, Germany, the company makes more than 4,000 standard components and 12,000 implemented gripping systems.

Schunk last month introduced a new gripper, the PGL-plus P. The company claimed that it is the “first pneumatic gripper in the world to have certified safe gripping force maintenance.”

End of arm tools are helping increase the capability and range of robot arms, helping operators reduce costs and deliver products faster.
