Automated fulfillment systems in the warehouse: The good, the bad and the ugly

Automation is everywhere in the warehouse. But, not all automated fulfillment technologies and deployments are the same. Ongoing labor shortage and financial challenges hamper organizations of all sizes from around the world. As these businesses consider various automation solutions, they must be aware of critical elements to meet their demands.

In this session, Ryan Chesterfield, founder of Auto-FC, will discuss several relevant case studies from around the world with automated fulfillment technologies, and highlight the issues and lessons organizations need to understand before they approach their own integration.

He will digest and develop several takeaways in the warehousing sector about these automation projects, and how organizations should empower their teams with data-driven analysis to focus on integration, flexibility and scalability for automated fulfillment systems in the warehouse.
