Alva Industries and Neugart will showcase their AGV drive technologies at SPS 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany.
Following their joint demonstration at Automatica earlier in 2025, Alva Industries (Alva) and Neugart GmbH (Neugart) are once again joining forces, this time at Smart Product Solutions (SPS) 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany, from November 25-27, 2025.
At SPS 2025, the companies plan to exhibit their high-performance, fully integrated AGV drive units.
The companies said that the collaboration highlights the pairing of Neugart’s NGV drive series with Alva’s SlimTorq frameless motors, creating a complete drive offering for mobile platforms and robotics.
Visitors to SPS can explore two fully functional drive units at both companies’ booths:
“We’re excited to once again collaborate with Neugart, now at SPS, to showcase the strength of combining our frameless motor technology with their gearbox expertise,” said Nicolas Giraudo, CCO at Alva Industries. “It’s a powerful example of what’s possible when precision mechanics meet advanced motor design.”
Alva’s SlimTorq motors are manufactured using its proprietary FiberPrinting process, a patented winding technology that achieves high levels of copper fill factors and zero cogging behavior. Alva said this allows for superior torque performance and thermal efficiency in a compact form factor.
Neugart’s NGV series integrates gearbox, motor flange and wheel hub into a single, compact module - minimizing system footprint while maximizing load capacity and durability.
"We’re excited to join forces with Alva Industries to bring together their innovative frameless motors and Neugart’s precision gearboxes," said Clemens Maurer, head of business development management at Neugart. "This collaboration brings our motto, ‘Customization in motion,’ to life - delivering tailored, high-performance solutions designed around our customers’ needs, enabling unmatched precision and efficiency in automation."
