The Hy-Tek Intralogistics and Packsize partnership aims to reduce packaging waste and grow ROI.
Supply chain integration partner and warehouse distribution technology provider Hy-Tek Intralogistics announced a strategic partnership with right-sized, on-demand packaging automation provider Packsize.
The companies this collaboration brings together two proven innovators to help companies build smarter, more sustainable supply chains by integrating automated packaging into the warehouse execution workflow.
By offering Packsize’s advanced packaging systems with Hy-Tek’s warehouse automation offerings, including its IntraOne software platform, the companies said its customers gain a powerful new tool to improve throughput, reduce material waste and optimize labor efficiency - without adding complexity.
“At Hy-Tek, we vet every technology we recommend through the lens of what’s right for our customers - technologies that drive real results and create lasting value,” said Sandy Stephens, chief strategy officer at Hy-Tek Intralogistics. “This partnership with Packsize adds a critical layer to our strategic automation portfolio. By engineering right-sized packaging directly into the workflow design, we’re helping customers minimize waste, accelerate payback and elevate the entire fulfillment experience.”
From manufacturing and distribution to direct-to-consumer fulfillment, Packsize said it delivers automation that reduce box volume, eliminate excess void fill and streamlines packaging operations. When integrated into automation strategies such as pick-to-box, AMR cart building, induction into ASRS or outbound sortation, Packsize added that its offerings amplify the impact of warehouse automation.
"Hy-Tek’s team of supply chain experts understands the importance of designing automation systems that deliver measurable ROI,” said Paul Roy, SVP of global partnerships at Packsize. “That’s why we’re proud to partner with an integrator that leads with insight and builds for long-term value. Together, we can ensure that packaging is no longer an afterthought - it’s a performance advantage.”
Roy also said Packsize’s technology has helped customers achieve a 40% reduction in packaging volume, 20% savings on corrugated material and avoided over 23 million truckloads, resulting in nearly 2 billion gallons of diesel saved and 17 billion kilograms of carbon emissions eliminated.
