CaPow will run live demos at MODEX 2026 of its Power-in-Motion robot charging technology.
CaPow, provider of the Genesis power delivery system for robotic fleets, will present live demos of its Power-in-Motion technology at MODEX 2026 in Atlanta.
The company will showcase how two different robotic platforms - Ocado Chuck and MiR600 - receive energy while operating over CaPow's modular charging pad system.
CaPow said that the MODEX demonstration illustrates how its Genesis platform enables energy delivery to mobile robots while they move, eliminating charging downtime and enabling 100% uptime for automated fleets.
Traditional charging systems require robots to periodically stop operations and dock at charging stations, creating downtime and wasted warehouse space. As fleets scale, these charging constraints become a major limitation on productivity and throughput.
CaPow said that its modular charging infrastructure transfers energy wirelessly to robots as they perform their tasks, ensuring they remain in an energy-positive state throughout operation. The modular design allows antennas to be placed in locations where robots naturally pass, such as picking stations, transfer points or high-traffic paths.
"Energy delivery is one of the most overlooked constraints in automation," said Prof. Mor Peretz, co-founder and CEO of CaPow. "With Power-in-Motion, robots receive energy efficiently as they operate. This changes how fleets are designed and enables automation systems to operate at their full potential."
CaPow said that the Genesis platform integrates into existing warehouse infrastructure and enables operators to rethink fleet design by removing the constraints imposed by traditional charging cycles.
By eliminating charging downtime, CaPow said that operators can:
CaPow will also introduce GEMS - the Genesis Energy Management System - MODEX. The company said that GEMS is a software layer designed to help operators detect energy-related issues early and prevent avoidable disruptions in robot operations.
