Automate 2026: AMRs, cobots, humanoids, orchestration platforms, software systems & more

OMRON Robotics announces the next generation of its LD Series AMRs. The new LD Series combines higher payloads, improved uptime, faster speeds, enhanced safety and a smaller package to help manufacturers automate with greater flexibility. The lineup includes the LD-150 and LD-300, with payload capacities of 150 kg and 300 kg, respectively. Built in compact form factors, the two models give manufacturers more flexibility to deploy AMRs in existing operations and workflows. With wireless charging and charge times of 30 minutes or less, the new LD Series helps improve uptime and productivity by keeping AMRs in operation longer and eliminating manual plug-in steps. Top speeds of 2.1 m/s and 5° grade ramp support enable efficient movement through production areas, warehouses and line-side delivery points. The LD-150 includes a 240° safety scanner field of view, while the LD-300 offers 360° safety scanner coverage. Both models are ISO 3691-4:2023 compliant. OMRON Robotics,
