Agility Robotics signed commercial deployment agreements with both Schaeffler Group and GXO Logistics in 2024, building upon a proof-of-concept pilot at GXO’s Atlanta, Ga. warehouse for SPANX the prior year. Digit - the Salem, Ore.-based company’s AI-powered bipedal humanoid mobile manipulation robot (MMR) - and Arc cloud-based fleet management software are being deployed through a robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) model. To help facilitate deployments, Agility also partnered with systems integrator Zion Solutions. Digit’s tote-handling capabilities were tested in collaboration with Amazon.
