10 humanoid robot companies preparing for commercial deployment

Figure AI announced in Jan. 2025 that it plans to ship 100,000 humanoid robots in the next four years, and that it will build a Center for the Advancement of Humanoid Safety. The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company unveiled its second-generation Figure 02 in Aug. 2024, updating the neural network and AI capabilities from Figure 01. Figure AI raised $70 million Series A followed by $675 million Series B to develop and commercialize its humanoids, including a $9 million investment from Intel.
