9 Welding Robots to Watch From Fabtech 2021

Path Robotics autonomous welding cell

Fabtech 2021 was Path Robotics’ first physical trade show after completing its A, B, and C venture capital funding rounds.

Path’s robots use proprietary computer vision and artificial intelligence to see what is in front of it, understand what it is supposed to do, and weld the product together at the push of a button.

Thanks to the AI, users don’t need to worry about rework, part placement, perfect parts, or robot programming, claimed the company.

At Fabtech 2021, cobot vendors displayed the latest features and accessories for automated welding, as shops struggle with worker shortages exacerbated by the pandemic.
