9 Welding Robots to Watch From Fabtech 2021

Universal Robots UR10e

Collaborative robotics leader Universal Robots’ arms were part of arc-welding and other fabrication demonstrations throughout the show floor.

The UR10e is a versatile industrial cobot, delivering both high-payload lift (12.5 kg or 27.5 lb.) and long reach (1,300 mm or 51.1 in.). This makes it well-suited for a wide range of applications, arc welding, palletizing, and packaging, said Universal Robots.

The UR10e is also offered as an OEM robot system and with a three-position enabling teach pendant.

At Fabtech 2021, cobot vendors displayed the latest features and accessories for automated welding, as shops struggle with worker shortages exacerbated by the pandemic.
