9 Welding Robots to Watch From Fabtech 2021

Vectis Automation Cobot Welding Tool

The newest version of Vectis Automation’s Cobot Welding Tool uses a water-cooled system. It also now includes MultiPass Software Feature and ArcPilot Through-The-Arc Seam Tracking.

The Cobot Welding Tool is now not only compatible with Miller welding equipment, but it can also be integrated with Lincoln and Fronius welding equipment.

The tool also offers easy learning capabilities, said Vectis. Users can make their first welds within 10 minutes of plug-in using its intuitive interface, weld templates, and tutorials. The Cobot Welding Tool also features do-it-yourself installation setup and training.

At Fabtech 2021, cobot vendors displayed the latest features and accessories for automated welding, as shops struggle with worker shortages exacerbated by the pandemic.
