Automate 2025: Standard Bots unveils new 30kg payload robot

Standard Bots

Standard Bots announce a new, 30kg payload robot and an expanded production facility in New York during Automate 2025.

Glen Cove, N.Y. based robot manufacturer Standard Bots announced the debut of a new 30kg, 2m reach robot at Automate 2025 in Detroit.

The company also touted its new headquarters and factory in Glen Cove, totaling over 16,000 square feet of space to double its previous Long Island location and further expand its production capacity.

Automate 2025 is May 12-15 in Detroit’s Huntington Place. Standard Bots is demonstrating its new robot in Booth 6423.

Standard Bots highlights American-made robotics

During Automate, Standard Bots will demonstrate its in-house-developed physical AI, a technology designed specifically for its robots and powered by the NVIDIA Isaac platform.

This AI enables users to teach robots tasks through demonstration, eliminating the need for traditional coding or programming. Then users can annotate and augment their demonstration data through NVIDIA Isaac Sim, a reference application built on NVIDIA Omniverse for rapid deployment.

“This new facility marks a pivotal moment for Standard Bots as we scale to meet growing demand for American-made robotics,” said Evan Beard, co-founder & CEO of Standard Bots. “We’re thrilled to debut both our expanded factory and our latest innovations at Automate.”

Standard Bots said the robots have undergone extensive private beta testing, and the model will be released to a broader audience in 2025.

Alongside this, the company will also unveil its new 30kg payload, 2m reach robot. This model combines collaborative features - such as a compact footprint, user-friendly programming and advanced safety - with specifications suited for heavy-duty tooling and large workpieces, a combination valued across industries like automotive, aerospace, and logistics.
